The blue glowing "alien" base is a brilliant idea, IMHO.
Do you mind if I use this theme as an inspiration, in future work? ;)

This is so beautiful! The colors are so bold and dark, and the contrast between the vibrant blues and the deep crimson is just mind blowing.

Interesting designs for the lights on the planet, they almost look like entrance points...but to what :paranoid: Red and blue is usually overdone in space scenes but the ratio of the two here is less common and so the colouring is pretty unique too :)

I find that smaller planet glow a lil bit disturbing (just where the planet is shaded) but the work itself is once again outstanding :)

The 'smaller' planet is actually the primary planet with and atmosphere, thus reflecting and dispersing the light hitting it. The closer planet is smaller (relatively-speaking) and has lost it's atmosphere, hence less light reflected. The continued 'glow' around the primary is to depict the multiple light sources (all relatively in the same area of the sky but with varying degrees of intensity) :)

Thanks!
