Nice, I admit I didn't think it was gonna be that good in the thumbnail, but now I see all those finer details. Unusual colour combination too :D the main planet looks awesome, but I gotta agree with ~sanmonku in that the lights are too much. If ou want bright, dense city lights, then maybe have them further apart, which suggests larger and more natural-looking continents like Earth, seeing how they often "outline" the coastlines o the continents ;)

I was actually playing with the idea of removing them completely, it was sort of an after-thought. I tend to get to a point where I go beyond a good stopping point and continue to add elements to a piece until i completely wash it out :(

Ah good point. The Star map was the hardest part of this whole piece, I have no idea why.
